About vul.tours
vul.tours is a Colombian-led birdwatching operator based in Bogotá. We design and guide bilingual expeditions across Colombia's seven birding regions, from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to the Llanos of Orinoquía.
Our approach
We believe Colombia deserves a birdwatching operator that is both Colombian and internationally rigorous. That means native Spanish-speaking leadership, trained ornithologist guides, and the technical standards of the best global birding operators. Every tour is documented in English and Spanish at full parity.
Conservation
Tourism revenue from our Sierra Nevada tours supports Fundación ProAves reserves. On the Pacific slope, we partner with community lodges in the Tatamá area. In the Coffee Axis, we work with Otún Quimbaya and local Colombian ornithologist networks. Every booking contributes directly to keeping Colombian forest standing.
Small groups, flexible dates
Most of our trips run 2 to 6 participants. Private departures are available on request. We keep group sizes small because birds do not tolerate crowds and because every client deserves time with the guide.
